JERSEY CITY, NJ - Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City reopened on Tuesday,  implementing restrictions in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Employees will undergo health screenings and there will be hand sanitizer stations. The mall will also upgrade many of the cleaning products it uses, especially in high volume areas such as restrooms, stairs, the food court, trash bins and more public touch locations.

Temperature testing will be optional for customers and protective masks and other safety devices will be available.
