JERSEY CITY, NJ - Officials at St. Peter’s University in Jersey City said they would freeze tuition for the upcoming academic year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This affects all undergraduate, professional and graduate students for the 2020-21 academic year  and students in Saint Peter’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies.

Enrollment at the university started on May 1 and will continue until June 1.

Founded in 1872, the private college offers over 60 undergraduate and graduate programs to more than 2,600 undergraduate and 800 graduate students and comes with a cost of $38,700 per year though school officials have said students pay an average of $12,000 per year after financial and other aid.
