JERSEY CITY, NJ - Hudson County officials have confirmed that a fourth worker at the Hudson County Correctional Facility has died, although not it has not yet been determined if it was due to COVID-19.
This follows previous reports that two nurses and one civilian had died, according to Freeholder Bill O’Dea who added that 26 prisoners in the facility have tested positive for the virus.
The situation is being monitored closely by county officials, and precautions have been taken to protect people in custody, including isolating those who have tested positive, Freeholder Anthony Romano said.
