JERSEY CITY, NJ - Law enforcement officials are investigating a Thursday morning car crash that sent both drivers to Jersey City Medical Center, including a 34-year-old Bayonne man who is said to have sustained serious injuries.

According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, the crash occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. when the vehicle, a 2012 Honda Accord, being driven southbound on Route 440 at the intersection of Route 185 South was struck by the second vehicle, a 1992 Toyota Celica that was traveling southbound on Route 185.

The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit is actively investigating this incident and asks anyone with information to contact the Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor at 201-915- 1345 or to leave an anonymous tip by clicking here.
