The Lewisboro Library held its community event, Historic Hamlet Hunt, on Sept. 13, where families were invited to hunt for historic treasures. Eighteen treasures of Lewisboro history were highlighted in a self-guided driving tour around the six hamlets of the town. Participants picked up a treasure booklet and followed the directions to learn the history while enjoying the beauty of Lewisboro. Along with the booklet, children received a small treasure chest to collect gold coins, and booklet stickers in every hamlet. There was a raffle for a treasure chest for everyone who completed the tour. The Historic Hamlet Hunt was a fundraiser for the library, with Houlihan Lawrence as the event sponsor.
