Art in the Park "Connected by Nature" Exhibit Opening Reception and Show

The WPA Gallery in Ward Pound Ridge Reservation is the site for a summer art exhibit, opening Sunday, July 14th, sponsored by the Art in the Park program.

Works by local artists Sally Franklin and Joanne D.Ponzo include a mix of mediums; watercolor, oil, and color pencil.  This exhibit celebrates a friendship, two artists who started painting together eight years ago, their passion and perspective in their love of art and nature.  Visitors are invited to enjoy the connections at the spacious and beautiful grounds of Pound Ridge Reservation.

An opening reception will take place on July 14th, from 1:00-3:00PM. This reception is open to the public, with complimentary refreshments and music.

The show is free and open to the public July 14th – August 18th

I went to the medical center recently for my physical. The doctor made a comment that an annual exam doesn’t mean every three years, but I feel healthy and didn’t see the need to rush.
