Lewisboro Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular

The 21st annual Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular will be held Saturday, June 29, at Onatru Farm Park (Fields 3, 4 and 5). The event is presented by the town of Lewisboro and Mercedes Benz of Goldens Bridge.

Designated parking begins at 5 p.m. Traffic on Elmwood Road will be restricted to one direction (north). Use Route 123 to Shady Lane.

The cost of admission is $20 per car.

Entertainment begins with live musical performances from Detour (7 p.m.) and Vince Castellucci and the Locals (8:15 p.m.). The fireworks display begins at dusk.

There will also be food trucks.

Pets, smoking, open flames, barbecues and personal fireworks are all prohibited.

Attendees are advised to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and insect repellant.

The rain date is Saturday, July 6.

I went to the medical center recently for my physical. The doctor made a comment that an annual exam doesn’t mean every three years, but I feel healthy and didn’t see the need to rush.
