PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – John Jay’s Kelsey Crawford and Clodagh McGroary competed at the New York State championship meet on Saturday, Nov. 16, in Plattsburgh, despite difficult track conditions created by a snowstorm several days earlier.

The storm created a mix of snow, mud and ice on the course. To accommodate the unsafe conditions, the race was shortened from 5,000 meters to 4,500 meters.

Crawford finished the Class B race in 19th place (17:49.60) and McGroary finished in 65th (19:08.50).
