KATONAH, N.Y. – Harvey’s football team won their first game of the season Saturday, Oct. 19, on homecoming day, as the Cavs held off the Forman School in a 32-22 thriller. 

QB Charlie Stuhr led the way, completing 10 of 16 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown. He also scored a rushing TD.

The Cavs rushed for 159 yards on the ground led by senior captain Jake Ross with 125 yards on 16 carries and two TDs. He added 2 catches out of the backfield for 69 yards and a TD. Senior captain Grant Doherty caught 3 balls for 81 yards while Colin Costigan added 5 catches for 25 yards.

Junior captain Aaron DuPree led the Cavs defense with 9 tackles while Costigan and Doherty had 8 each. Doherty also blocked a punt. Senior captains Brandon Marshall and Sean Breen added 6 tackles each. Marshall recovered two fumbles.

The Cavs improve to 1-4. Following a bye this week, they will travel to Millbrook on Nov. 2 to take on the Mustangs.
