Art Showcase Filled with Talented Union Students

An Arts Showcase, sponsored by Union County College’s Humanities Division, was held at Union’s Rahway location on July 26. More than 50 members of the community came out to support the dozen performers who performed throughout the evening.

“The showcase came together well and did a wonderful job of sharing many different art forms. Attendees were able to experience singing, dancing, and comedy as well as viewing a selection of paintings. I was pleased that our students participated in this event during the summer and shared their talents with others,” said Dean of Humanities Elise Donovan.

Union County College Academic Specialist in Music and Theater Michael Hegarty introduced the student performances. The event was held thanks to the support of Union’s Dean of Humanities, Dr. Elise Donovan. The Humanities Division looks forward to hosting additional showcases once the fall semester begins.
