KENILWORTH, NJ- The Brearley Bears varsity soccer team extended its winning streak to three matches on Wednesday, September 11, the latest a 6-0 victory over Plainfield.

At the end of the first half the score was 2-0 with Brearley in the lead. “The team struggled to find the back of the net in the first half. The heat definitely seemed to factor into their performance. However, they still managed to put four more goals away in the second half” head coach Michelle Ventura said.

Micaela Etlinger made two goals and one assist, Nicole Santos one goal, Melanie Dos Santos and Isabel Allocco each had one assist, Naya Nascimento one goal and one assist, Michelle Montoya one goal and one assist, and Juliana Rei one goal.

The next game the team will face Emerson High School on Saturday, September 14, at 2:30 p.m. at home.
