Continue the Movement: Springfield Democratic Club to Host "Women in Leadership Forum" March 19

Credits: www.springfieldnjdems.org

Dear Editor,

What an incredible time in the history of our nation and for the voices of women leadership in leading our nation, our state and our beloved Township of Springfield! We have a unique and singular opportunity to celebrate these leaders whose mission and passion is to ensure that women’s issues remain prominently at the forefront of the local and national political conversation.

In light of the historic Women's March in Washington, DC, many residents have voiced their interest, with a new-found and rejuvenated desire, to have greater involvement  in our community. To this end, it is my privilege to heed this request and to lend my efforts to expanding the discussion regarding the development, voice, and social impact of women in leadership.

In celebration of Women's History Month, the Springfield Democratic Club will host a “Women in Leadership” forum. Our goal is to bring together female leaders of Union County to share the challenges they've overcome, as well as successes they've achieved. It is my pleasure to invite you to attend this forum.

Please join us Sunday, March 19, 2017, at 2 pm, in the Chisholm Community Center in Springfield, New Jersey for a program designed to inspire, inform and educate through women leaders sharing their unique perspective on holding office in their communities throughout New Jersey.

For more information please visit our website www.springfieldnjdems.org or our Facebook Page Springfield Democratic Party.

Sincerest Regards,
Christopher Capodice

I'm a lifelong New Jersey resident -- including ...
