CRANFORD - 10 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Cranford since October 21, according to the Township of Cranford. Currently, there are 26 active cases in town.

The 10 new positives bring Cranford's total to 593 since the first reported case on March 17. With no new fatalities, the number remains at 97. Of the 97, 84 were residents living in one of Cranford's long-term care facilities, while 13 were residents living in the community.

To protect the private medical information of these individuals, Cranford will not be releasing additional information about these cases. Residents are asked to respect the impacted residents right to privacy based on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
