KENILWORTH, NJ - The David Brearley High School Student of the Month for September is an active and energetic senior.  Nia McCullin, an Academy student, has been an outstanding student throughout her career at David Brearley, earning a spot as a Peer Leader and admission to the National Honor Society. In addition to her academic success, McCullin has garnered praise for her work on the Forensics team, the stage crew for the Brearley plays and musicals, the Bear Print, and the morning announcements.

The eighth grade student of the month is Miah Bilal.  Bilal is a hard working student who tries her very best in all of her classes. Her teachers report she is the first one to ask questions in class, which helps clarifies instruction for all students.  Miah also participates in all class discussions, and is conscientious when completing her work. Bilal is a wonderful new edition to our school this year. Her character exemplifies self-assurance, kindness and class. She is always respectful to her teachers, as well as her peers, which makes her a true role model.
