David Brearley Students of the Month: Alyssa Peters and Louis Wood


KENILWORTH, NJ - David Brearley Middle/High School has announced its students of the month for October. The letter from the school can be read below:

The David Brearley High School Student of the Month for October is a busy senior engaged in numerous activities throughout the school. Alyssa Peters is an AP student who has distinguished herself as a member of the David Brearley chapter of the National Honor Society. This accomplished senior is an active peer leader, as well as a peer advisor. Alyssa even filled in for Mr. Dave Novak on Back to School Night to provide parents with course information. She is also a captain of the girls’ soccer team and Bear Print staff writer. Congratulations, Alyssa!

The October Middle School Student of the month is seventh-grader Louis Wood. Louis is described by his teachers as being sweet, polite, mature, and helpful. He always greets his teachers with a smile and is always quick to help out his classmates during class. Louis is hard-working, strives to excel, and is an active participant during class discussions and activities. Congratulations Louis for being this month’s Middle School Student of the Month.
