Girls Basketball: Brearley Heads to Final Round of Holiday Tournament

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Brearley Girls Basketball team defeated New York’s Success Charter, 59-47, in the first round of the McNair Holiday Tournament.

Junior Hannah Bondalo led the team with 18 points, five assists and eight steals. Sophomore Sofia Lospinoso brought in 16 points with eight rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Sophomores Michaela Etlinger and Kylie Klapp totaled 13 points and 10 points, respectively. Senior Kiara Adorno brought in two points with nine rebounds.

Hannah Miller pulled down six rebounds.

The Brearley Bears will face METS Charter in the final round on Friday, Dec. 29. The team currently stands undefeated at 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the Union County Conference Sky Division.
