Invite to Design Your Own APP Contest

Here is the company spokespeople talking about the program. Think of the opportunities for your tech savvy children or even your small business Credits: Et

Technology is just as important as money when it comes to a business idea. You can get a loan to start a new business and hire developers if you do not know how to create an app for your idea. But not everyone qualifies for a loan, and not everyone is connected to someone who is skilled in app building. But what if you had the opportunity to give your idea to someone who could make your app and pay you for it?

Sponsored by General Assembly, Harvard Business School, Pulp PR + Marketing, TBWAY,  and AppFigures, pitch your idea to Rokolabs App Idea Awards contest by April 24, 2017 and if your idea is selected, they will build your app for free. If your app is created by them, they will actually pay you up to $70,000! As if that money wasn’t good enough, the added bonus is that full ownership, including intellectual rights, belongs to you.

When you apply, keep in mind the aspects that will be considered during judging. They include:

General Strength of Concept

• business plan, including monetization

• How well the team works well together and executes the ultimate plan

• User design

Even if your app does not win the contest, everyone is invited to see the final award ceremony will take place on June 7, 2017 at General Assembly. You will be able to see the app ideas that were selected to be in the finals, but you will also be able to meet with investors to get interest in your idea.

Apply now before midnight on April 24, 2017 to see if you can be paid to have your dream app developed for free.
