KENILWORTH, NJ - Please see the latest message from the Kenilworth DPW. 


The DPW will start collection of curbside RECYCLING on July 7, on the Northside of town only. The Southside collection will begin on July 14. This new recycling schedule was sent out to the residents at the end of May. Monthly residential recycling drop off, at the yard, will be on July 11 due to July 4 holiday.

All Vegetative Waste continues to be collected every Wednesday until October 28. Place all vegetative waste in a covered 32-gallon container or in brown paper lawn and leaf bags at curbside.NO PLASTIC BAGS. This includes branches, leaves, plant clippings, grass, etc. Large branches must be bundled and tied in three-foot sections.

Residents may pay $35 per unit fee for disposal of stoves, washing machines, water heaters, and dryers.  There is also a $35 fee for items containing Freon or other refrigerants, such as; refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, etc.    

Residents may pay a fee, per unit, for the collection of bulky waste items listed on the Borough’s price list, available on the Borough website.  Please contact Kathi Moschitta, Deputy Borough Clerk, to make payments and arrangements for this collection at 908-276-9090.
