Kenilworth Board of Education Staff Celebrate Tenure

KENILWORTH, NJ - The Kenilworth Board of Education celebrated four staff members who achieved tenure in the district, at its meeting held on May 9. 

Janet Jeans, Harding School Nurse; Michele Galpern, ELL Instruction; Denise Radice, Basic Skills Instructor, Samantha Gibbons, David Brearley Social Studies Teacher all achieved the status of tenured staff members and were awarded employment contracts at the May 9 meeting.

All certified employees must undergo a rigorous process to achieve tenure, including high performance on evaluations, the creation of a portfolio of their work product as well as a presentation outlining their accomplishments.
