KENILWORTH, NJ- Poocha Palooza is a fundraiser for ten-year old Molly Wright who needs a service dog to help her walk. Molly suffers from transverse myelitis and as a result, Molly has mobility issues. She cannot keep up with her peers anymore and has to rely on her crutches and wheelchair to move around. Molly is working with an organization called 4 Paws for Ability. They will pair her with a dog once she has raised $17,000.
“We are so touched by the generosity of family, friends, and community members who have supported Molly and our various fundraisers” Stacie Holzinger Molly’s aunt says. “Molly has handled her disability with Grace and determination and we are so happy that she is one step closer to getting the service dog she so needs. 4 paws for ability is an amazing organization and we are thankful that she was a fit for their program.”
4 Paws for Ability is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to place quality service dogs with children with disabilities and veterans who have lost use of limbs or hearing and educate the public regarding use of service dogs in public places.
