KENILWORTH, NJ – The Kenilworth Public Library will host a Toys for Tots drop box this season.

Toys for Tots, founded in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks of the U.S. Marine Corps., provides toys to children who normally go without during Christmas.

“It is the season of giving, and what better way than to donate a new toy for a less fortunate child in our community during the holidays?” Robin Koerner, director of children’s services at the library, said.

All residents are encouraged to drop off a new, unwrapped toy in the drop box from now until Dec. 10.
