Kenilworth PBA Annual Fishing Derby Tomorrow

KENILWORTH, NJ – Saturday, June 3, is Kenilworth PBA’s annual fishing derby at Black Brook Park.

The event is open to children ages three through 12. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and lines will be cast into the water at 8 a.m.

Prizes will be awarded to boys and girls who catch the longest fish, according to Valerie Smith of the Kenilworth Police Department. All kids will receive a tee shirt for attending the derby.

Food and bait will be available for sale. The event is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. and end around 10:30 a.m. All students between age three and age 12 who attend school in Kenilworth are eligible to participate.
