KENILWORTH, NJ – The Kenilworth Police Department will participate in the 34th Annual National Night Out, a nationwide event organized by the National Association Town Watch to promote involvement in crime prevention, police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
The event promotes the opportunity for residents to interact with the police department and learn about the department’s programs.
Kenilworth’s National Night Out will include demonstrations by the Kenilworth Police Department, Kenilworth Fire Department & Rescue Squad, Union County Police Bomb Squad & Union County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit and Union County SWAT.
In addition, kids can enjoy entertainment including a bounce house and face painting. Italian Ice and popcorn will be available as well.
The Kenilworth National Night Out is free and begins at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 31 at Harding School Field.
