Kenilworth Public Library Begins "Bard on the Boulevard" Program Tonight

KENILWORTH, NJ – The Kenilworth Public Library will kick off its “Bard on the Boulevard” series tonight with a performance of “Taming of the Shrew.”

The performance will be put on by the Hudson Shakespeare Company at the library, according to the library’s website.

According to the Hudson Shakespeare Company’s website, the performance is “a culture shock of epic proportions.”

The performance begins at 7 p.m. and is free to attend. The library will also host a performance of “Romeo and Juliet” on Tuesday, July 11.

Funding for the “Bard on the Boulevard” program is made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs.
