KENILWORTH, NJ – Kenilworth was ranked as no. 178 on LendEDU’s list of the towns in New Jersey with the most delis. More than 1,000 towns were ranked but the list only includes the top 250 towns.
LendEDU is a Hoboken-based website that analyzed all the towns in the state to determine which towns had the most delis per person. Kenilworth’s index is 12.64.
“LendEDU is based out of Hoboken, New Jersey, so we know how important it is to have good delis around us and plenty of them,” The website reads. “In this spirit, we have used a licensed dataset to create the Deli Density Index, a metric indicating a town’s deli per person ratio.”
According to Yelp, the best delis in Kenilworth are Massimo Delicatessen, Lenny & Johns Subs, Sub Where Else, Michigan Deli and Pat’s Corner Café & Deli.
“Kudos to our deli’s and all the great places in Kenilworth,” Mayor Anthony DeLuca wrote in his June newsletter. “You can call us lots of things but you can never say you left town hungry.”
