Roctoberfest To Benefit Young Area Cancer Patient, Ship Bottom Irish Festival and Local Entertainment Headline This Weekend's Action

STAFFORD, NJ – Two big events this weekend in the Stafford-LBI area.  They are the Ship Bottom Irish Festival and Rocktoberfest.

The Ship Bottom Irish Festival on Long Beach Island will be held this Saturday and Sunday.  The cost of admission is $10 per person.  Children 15 and under have free admission.  The hours for Saturday at 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The event is held at the boat ramp area on the bay in Ship Bottom.   There will be a Gaelic Mass celebrated on Sunday morning and there will be many entertainers throughout the weekend.

David’s Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation invites all to the Beach Haven NJ Moose Lodge 1575 in Manahawkin for a very special event titled Rocktoberfest.  This is  presented by the Beach Haven Moose Riders along with David’s Dream and Believe.  This event will benefit Sadie,  who is  3 years old and lives in Manahawkin.  Sadie is battling Wilms' Tumor cancer. She has undergone chemotherapy, minor surgery and completed her first radiation treatment this past week.
