Softball: Brearley Faces Defeat by Dayton, 7-1, in Away Game

KENILWORTH, NJ – David Brearley is tied for the season, 3-3 overall, following Monday’s loss to Jonathan Dayton, 7-1, in an away game.

Junior Michelle Capizzano scored the team’s singular run with an RBI assist by junior Karyn Shizamu. Freshman Bree Manresa had Brearley’s other hit.

Kenilworth is currently 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the league.

Brearley’s game against Scotch Plains-Fanwood on April 25 was postponed due to rain. The team is scheduled to take on Elizabeth at Brearley on Saturday at noon.
