Softball: Brearley Falls to Johnson 4-0 in Thursday's Away Game

CLARK, NJ – David Brearley High School's softball team lost to Arthur L. Johnson, 4-0, on Thursday.

Junior Michelle Capizzano, sophomore Alyssa Filippone and junior Shanya Rabec each had two hits. Capizzano also pitched six innings, allowing nine hits and striking out one.

Senior Sydney David and freshman Bree Manresa also had one hit each. Brearley is ranked 8th  in the Union County Conference as of May 4, with a 4-5 record overall and a 3-3 league mark.

The Brearley Bears will take on Middlesex in a home game on Saturday at 10 a.m.
