Update: at 2:25 p.m., the Kenilworth Police Department wrote on Facebook that the "suspect has been apprehended by KPD officers and there is no further cause for alarm."

KENILWORTH, NJ – According to the Breaking News Network, Kenilworth Schools are on lockdown due to a male who fled the county sheriff officers while serving a warrant at 9:16 a.m.
However, Dispatcher Castle at the Kenilworth Police Department said it was not a lockdown.
“It wasn’t a lockdown,” she said. “They were just keeping the students inside while an officer was serving a warrant.”
A Breaking News Network update at 9:23 a.m. reads, "Multiple agencies searching for a suspect who fled a residence, Sheriffs Officers who were attempting to serve a fugitive warrant."
The officers are pursuing the suspect on foot.
