KENILWORTH, NJ –  After a strong defensive performance against South Hunterdon, the Bears crushed the Eagles in a 41-7 victory on Friday night. The outcome shows just how well the Bears dominated the game and their winning determination persevered. The Bears now stand 6-1 in the Union Division standings going strong.

“We played a solid game but there are still plenty of things to fix” quarterback Danny Ramos articulated. Highlights include Ramos scoring three touchdowns, half back Derek Graichen scored two, and full back Jack Balwierczak scored one.  In the opening quarter Ramos ran in a nine-yard touchdown and in the second quarter a 35-yard touchdown. Ramos finished with 100 rushing yards on eight carries and Graichen finished with 100 yards on 15 carries.

The Bears look to build off this win as they take on the Destroyers next Friday, October 25, at 7:00 p.m. at Dunellen High School. This is particularly exciting for the team as Ramos says “ We have the opportunity to get another shot at the team that knocked us out of the playoffs last year. Especially because it’s the same situation this year, a must win game. So were going to stay extra focused going into this week and prepare for Dunellen hoping to improve 7-1.”
