KENILWORTH, NJ – The Brearley Bears Varsity Football Team nabbed a critical 50–6 victory at Fridays game October 4, against Roselle Park. The Bears defense, which has improved gradually since the start of the season delivered a strong performance against the Panthers. This was a big game for the Bears as they had not played the Panthers for two years.
Highlights of the game include Danny Ramos and Quinn Lonergan scoring two rushing touchdowns. Ramos totaled 120 yards, Derek Graichen rushed for 189 yards and made two touchdowns to lead Brearley to a 50-6 win. Michael Dotro led the defense with 16 tackles, Graichen and Lonergan 11 tackles, and Peter Siragusa made eight tackles. Matt Sims made the final touchdown leading the teams successful win. Brearley is now 4-1 on the season.
Brearley looks to build off this win as the team takes on Bound Brook on the home field Friday, October 11, at 7:00 p.m.
