Learning About Miniature Therapy Horses

Learning About Miniature Therapy Horses will be presented on Monday, July 15 at 11:00 – 12:00pm by Megan Coultas from Hope’s Promise. Children ages 4 – 12 will have an opportunity to meet Michaelangelo a miniature therapy horse and learn how these beautiful animals are helping people with physical and developmental challenges. This program has been funded by The Friends of the Kenilworth Public Library.
Registration is required. Kenilworth residents may begin to register on Monday, July 8, 2019. Out of town residents may begin to register on Thursday, July 11, 2019.

Rewind at the Kenilworth Public Library

KENILWORTH, NJ - There was a great turnout at the library Tuesday night to hear the classic rock band Rewind play an array of favorite Beatles songs. KENILWORTH, NJ – The annual Kenilworth Fire Department Carnival held at St. Theresa’s School wrapped up last week. Each night the grounds were filled residents and visitors from all over the county who enjoyed the numerous rides, food, games, and the beer garden. Saturday night many patrons wore green to honor the memory of Kenilworth firefighter, AJ DeVito who recently passed away.

Closure of Rialto Theatre in Westfield Catches Town by Surprise

WESTFIELD, NJ — The nearly 100-year-old Rialto Theatre has closed, catching municipal officials and the public by surprise.

Man Arrested in "Upskirting" Incident in Route 22 Store, Again

UNION, NJ – A man accused of taking "upskirt" photos surrendered to Union Police last week after this latest incident at a store on Route 22.  He is accused in at least three other similar incidents in New Jersey and Utah over the past year.

Stephen Grogan, 42, surrendered to Union Police on August 1 and is charged with the criminal charge of invasion of privacy.
