Veteran's Day Coat Drive

The Kenilworth Rotary club is asking for used or new coats to be donated to the Veteran's Day Coat Drive by November 6, at the latest.  The drop off site is the side door of the United Methodist Church. There will also be a collection box October 5, at the Farmer's Market. Coats will be distributed Veteran's Day to local needy families and veterans.

BREAKING; Service Resumes on Morris & Essex Line After Trespasser Fatality

MILLBURN, NJ - Service has resumed with heavy delays on the Morris and Essex Line after a trespasser was struck and killed by a train near the Millburn train station earlier this morning.

According to NJ Transit Spokesperson Lisa Torbic, the incident occurred with a train out of Dover. The victim was an adult male, although no further information about him is known at this time.

KENILWORTH, NJ- Penn-Bower is supplying new gas lines throughout the town the next couple of months. Tuesday, October 8, Passaic Avenue will be closed for the day between 21st and 25th Street and Richfield Avenue will be closed from South 23rd to the dead end. Residents will be accommodated the Kenilworth Police Department stated.

KENILWORTH, NJ- Penn-Bower is supplying new gas lines throughout the town the next couple of months. Monday, October 7, Passaic Avenue will be closed for the day between 21st and 25th Street. Starting around 9:00 a.m South 21st will be closed until the late afternoon. The Kenilworth Police Department stated to avoid these streets for the meantime.
