KENILWORTH, NJ – The Borough of Kenilworth recently presented a Mayoral Proclamation to Anthony Peters who began his service as a Fire Sub-code Official in January 1978.  Peters was raised in the Borough of Kenilworth and enjoyed growing up here. He married Patricia, and together they raised two children, Anthony and Stephanie. Peters served the Borough in many capacities over his 40 years of dedicated service, including all ranks within the Kenilworth Volunteer Fire Department including chief; various roles in First Aid Squad/Fire Association; and currently serving as the Secretary to the Relief Association. As stated in the proclamation “the Borough of Kenilworth takes great pride and pleasure in drawing special public attention to Anthony Peters for his record of service to and concern for the protection of life and property in the local community, and extends to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.”
