KENILWORTH, NJ – The annual Kenilworth Fire Department Carnival held at St. Theresa’s School wrapped up last week. Each night the grounds were filled with residents and visitors from all over the county who enjoyed the numerous rides, food, games, and the beer garden. Saturday night many patrons wore green to honor the memory of Kenilworth firefighter, AJ DeVito who recently passed away. The Super 50/50 drawing was a huge success and Rob Fonte was the lucky man who won over $10,000 dollars.

“This was one of our most successful carnivals ever. The community attendance and support was tremendous” said the Kenilworth Fire Department. The KFD also expressed their gratitude of thanks on social media to the Kenilworth Town Council, St. Theresa’s Church, Kenilworth Police Department, Kenilworth OEM, all of the Union County Fire/EMS Mutual Aid cover companies, the hundreds of volunteers from local charitable organizations, and the patrons.  The KFD concluded on their facebook page, “We couldn’t do it without you! It takes a village. Thank you! We’ll see you next year.”
