KENILWORTH, NJ – Please see the important message about the road closure from the Kenilworth Police Department that will take place September 24, 2019.
On Tuesday September 24, Union County and Smith Sondy construction will begin the Boulevard milling and paving project. The project will last for approximately three (3) weeks with weather permitting and entail the closure of large sections of the Boulevard on a nightly basis. The work will begin at the Garden State Parkway overpass and proceed westbound into Cranford. Nightly closures will begin at 7:00 p.m. and continue until approximately 5:00 a.m. Residents are encouraged to utilize alternate travel routes and exercise patience when dealing with the construction zone.
