KENILWORTH, NJ - The Borough of Kenilworth hosted its annual tree lighting on Sunday evening, December 8. The Kenilworth Rec provided hot chocolate, apple cider, and an array of festive treats for all to enjoy. “The tree lighting is always such a great way to kick off the holiday season” Rec Center's Program Administrator Kristin Boyle said. “The kids singing Christmas carols, the lighting of the trees. It’s such a great feeling being a part of it and having the ability to contribute love.” Councilwoman and mayor-elect Linda Karlovitch was thrilled with the turnout. “We all had a great time at the tree lighting. A big thank you to our Recreation and DPW departments who do such an amazing job behind the scenes to make everything so perfect. Happy Holidays everyone.”
