KENILWORTH, NJ – The first annual Kenilworth Kids Art Show that was held April 4, 2020, was a huge success.  Over 25 families participated and the children of the community loved walking around to look at all the art.

Organizer Stacie Holzinger, a first-grade teacher in Long Hill, came up with the idea to do something uplifting and creative for the children during this tough and stressful time due to the coronavirus pandemic. “The idea kind of just came to me. I was trying to think of ways to get people out and about but also give them things to do while stuck at home. We were doing a lot of art projects and so it just hit me to have an art show.”

Holzinger was very impressed by the creative pieces of art. “We had a great turnout and my family loved walking around and seeing what everyone created. It was a great excuse to get outdoors and it helped us feel connected to our friends and neighbors.”
