KENILWORTH, NJ – Every year Mary Santorella and Richard Seymour decorate their house with the finest Halloween decorations and lights to share their festive spirit with the community of Kenilworth. The Halloween lighting display goes up early in October through November. The lights are turned on around 6:30/7:00 p.m and turn off at 10/10:30 p.m. and on the weekends a little later.

After dismantling the Halloween display Santorella and Seymour put up a mini Thanksgiving display before assembling their award-winning Christmas lights and decorations. Their house won the Kenilworth Holiday Lighting contest last year and they are hoping this year for another win. The Christmas display goes into effect after Thanksgiving weekend and continues until it is completed. Santorella and Seymour are projecting a display lighting date of Saturday, December 14.

“Our goal is to become a staple must see event for the Halloween and Xmas season in Kenilworth” Santorella states. “We want to be able to announce our Halloween and Xmas House Lighting in advance so people can come and enjoy. We do all this for our Pembrook Drive children and their supportive parents. It gives us enormous pleasure to hear all their comments and compliments we get every season.”
