KENILWORTH, NJ - To celebrate St. Patrick's Day safely, many Kenilworth residents will be placing a picture of a Shamrock in their window for a neighborhood Shamrock Hunt for the children. The idea came from a post that has been circling around Facebook that many parents have been sharing. As the post says, "this is a way for the community to still get outside while still keeping a safe distance."

The guidelines are simple. Color, paint, print, or cut out a Shamrock and place it in your window. Children will be able to walk around the neighborhood and look for the Shamrocks. There is no human contact, does not cost any money, and the kids will get fresh air. To participate please place a Shamrock in your window by 1:00 p.m.
