KENILWORTH, NJ - The Kenilworth Board of Education will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday, May 11, at 5:30 p.m. Please see the link bit.ly/2SSug2g, that will bring you to the Board of Education page that will then give you the link to click on to watch the meeting live. As it is stated on the website, “The public will be advised of how to watch the meeting and participate in the Public Notice. BOE Members, the Superintendent, and School Business Administrator will participate via a Zoom Virtual Meeting. The Superintendent and School Business Administrator will be on site with the Manager of Information Technology hosting and monitoring the meeting."
Lillian Falcetano and Tina Lynaugh, Union representatives for the aides at the Kenilworth School District, are encouraging the public to watch the meeting tonight. Falcetano and Lynaugh stated, “We the special education aides at the Kenilworth school district are urging you to watch tonight's live board meeting via youtube and call or write in support of those of us working with our district's children with disabilities. Although it's not shown in the board agenda as budget cuts, we are having our hours cut by almost 33%."
