KENILWORTH, NJ - David Brearley High School staff recently notified three seniors that they received scholarships and an award from the Rotary Club of Kenilworth.  Michael Naya Jr and Adriana Famiglietti earned an academic scholarship and Joseph Gasper received the first time ever vocational award.

Joseph Gasper will be attending Union County College and then transferring next spring to the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He plans on studying construction management technology and his ambition is to one day become a successful construction manager and general contractor. Gaspar said, “I am honored to be recognized, and thank you for this opportunity.”

Michael Naya Jr will attend Kean University and study history. He wants to become a history teacher and hopefully a history professor one day. “I feel very honored to receive an award from the Kenilworth Rotary Club, and I am grateful that they chose me, Joseph and Adriana. All of those who applied are great people and I wish them the best in their future endeavors.”

Adriana Famiglietti is going to Montclair State University, where she plans on studying exercise science, and then move on to nursing.

The Kenilworth Rotary Club is in its eighth decade of service (73 years) and has been serving the community of Kenilworth and the world through rotary international established in 1905. Due to the global pandemic, Kenilworth Rotary Club is still meeting weekly virtually.
