KENILWORTH, NJ – The Kenilworth Rotary Club recently honored Michael Naya, a senior at David Brearley High School as the January student of the month at Riberto's Italian Seafood Bistro and Steakhouse. Naya received a certificate and was welcomed by 2019-2020 Rotary Club President Janet Henkel. Principal Dana Chibbaro and history teacher Michael Tetzlaff were also in attendance. Not only did he receive an award, but he also did a presentation about the life of Abraham Lincoln.

Naya has interviewed over eighty World War II veterans and many of Kenilworth’s oldest residents. He is a member of the Battle of the Bulge Association and an associate member of the now defunct 7th Armored Division Association. Naya was very appreciative to be chosen as the student of the month. “I feel very proud as it is my senior year and we serve as an example towards the younger students at David Brearley.”
