Cha Cha Cha Cuban Café has been a part of the Kenilworth community for five years. The restaurant, located at 292 S. Michigan Avenue, is a family-run little Cuban Café that boasts big flavor in a small venue.” Owned by a father-daughter team, Rafael Santana and Dariany Santana, Cha Cha Cha serves up a variety of dishes for customers to enjoy. Menu items include classic Cuban style sandwiches as well as appetizers and traditional Cuban dishes such as ropa vieja and vaca frita. The Santana’s were also the creators of the world’s first Cuban rice balls that were inspired by Italian rice balls and are served in the restaurant. The restaurant was closed for a few weeks during the pandemic, but they are now open for takeout and delivery. “Cuban food in town is something new,” said Rafael Santana. “Business has been slow however we are looking forward to increasing business in this great town.”
