Located at 290 S. Michigan Avenue, Pizza Stop is a local pizzeria that serves up “homemade using only the highest quality and freshest ingredients available.” The restaurant has been a part of the Kenilworth since the late 80’s and current owner, Frank Beato, has been there for 21 years, Customers can enjoy many menu items including appetizers such as buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks, calzones, salads, wraps, hot and cold subs, entrees, pasta dinners, and of course, specialty pizzas. According to Beato, their specialty pizzas including the buffalo chicken pizza are some of the most popular items along with their cazonis which are baked pizza sandwiches. During the pandemic, customers can order via takeout and delivery direct from the restaurant. Beato said that it has been quiet during lunch but business has been picking up on the weekends. “Kenilworth is a great town,” said Beato. “We help out when we can and it has been great serving the community.”
