KENILWORTH, NJ – David Villafranca from Boy Scout Troop 83, recently donated and installed dugout benches at DiMario Park for Kenilworth Recreation Softball as part of his Eagle Scout Project. An Eagle Scout Project involves the scout making a development in the community while demonstrating his leadership skills.

To celebrate his achievement a short presentation was held yesterday evening at DiMario Park. Villafranca was joined by his family, several members of Troop 83, Councilwoman Kay Ceceri, Recreation Director Pat Boyle, and Program Administrator Kristin Boyle. Villafranca thanked his family, Mayor Anthony DeLuca and Council, and the Rec Center, most especially his Troop 83 family and the Kenilworth community for all their help and support.
