KENILWORTH, NJ - Terry Loneker, a lifelong resident of Kenilworth who teaches Zumba at the American Legion Hall, is offering free virtual Zumba classes on Monday and Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, she will be teaching Zumba that will focus on toning as well. This is not a weight lifting class because the toning exercises will still be incorporating dance. Loneker recommends depending on your level, to use two to three-pound weights maximum. If you do not have weights you can use water bottles or nothing at all. The weights are just to add a little resistance.

To participate you can reach out to Loneker by text (908-416-1400), or on Facebook Messenger under her name Theresa Loneker. All she needs an email and then will send a zoom invite. Loneker stated that so far the virtual classes have been quite successful. “I have all ages and what is even more spectacular is that whole families are participating together. It is wonderful. We laugh, talk, and of course, work out.  It is meant to get some movement and use those muscles." As well as being a Zumba Instructor, Loneker is also licensed in other specialty classes and is a Black Belt in TaeKwonDo.

Please contact Loneker if you have any more questions.
