KENILWORTH, NJ – Please see the important message from Mayor Linda Karlovitch.

Prevention and preparedness are important. Wash your hands and keep your immune system strong. Practice personal responsibility for your bodies health. Please stay home if you are not feeling well. Call your doctor, if you do not have one a medical professional is available for you to discuss symptoms at 1-800-222-1222. If you do require a hospital visit please drive yourself there if you are able. Also, alert the hospital that you are coming so that they can prepare for your arrival and minimize risk to others. Our borough is in constant communication with our State and County officials. We are also working closely with our health officers, staying on top of the most up to date information available. Our schools and library have contingency plans in place, and we are keeping our buildings clean and disinfected. The borough has updated Information which will be available on our website kenilworthborough.com along with a link to the CDC. The Center for Disease Control is the best place to get the latest developments and information. Please continue to patronize our local businesses and restaurants, now more than ever they need your support. I urge everyone to stay calm, and positive. We know what this is, we know how to detect the virus, scientists are working on this globally.

Please stay safe and healthy and be kind to each other.
