KENILWORTH, NJ - Sunday, December 8, between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. the Kenilworth Historical Society will hold a Holiday Celebration an "Old Fashioned Christmas" at the Oswald J. Nitschke House. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet and take pictures with Victorian Santa, and tour the 1880 home decorated authentically for the holidays. The Christkindlmarkt will also be there featuring handcrafted items, baked goods, and other holiday treats. The Kenilworth Education Association Pride Committee is generously partnering with the Kenilworth Historical Society to provide hot chocolate and candy canes.
Admission to visit the Nitschke House is free. Guests are encouraged to bring for the Nitschke Cultural Heritage Tree an ornament (labeled with their family name), that represents their family's heritage and culture.
