KENILWORTH, NJ - Sunday, December 8, the Kenilworth Historical Society held its annual holiday celebration an "Old Fashioned Christmas" at the Oswald J. Nitschke House. Visitors had the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Victorian Santa, and take a tour of the authentically decorated house. Members from the society educated guests about the 1880 home and what a Victorian Christmas was like. The Christkindlmarkt was open downstairs featuring handcrafted items, pastries, hot chocolate, and other holiday goods. There was a raffle for a gigantic teddy bear which Kenilworth resident Keira O’Toole won. The Kenilworth Historical Society members were delighted with the turnout and the community support.
